All contractors insurance is not the same. G.C. Environmental, Inc. carries the best of class insurance for general liability, professional liability, contractors pollution liability, transportation pollution liability, and non-owned disposal sites, with umbrella limits of $5m and none of the exclusions commonly found in most contractors policies. Unlike G.C. Environmental, Inc.'s program, many contractors are purchasing less expensive insurance with exclusions for Scaffold and Labor Law Claims, cross claim exclusions, worker claims against the property owner, work-height exclusions, residential and/or commercial construction limitations and exclusions of “insured contract” that exclude subcontractor’s indemnity obligations owed under an Agreement. Scaffold Law or Labor Law Section 240 imposes a non-delegable and absolute liability on both property owner clients and contractors for failing to provide a safe environment for workers subject to elevation risks which can simply be climbing a ladder. G.C. Environmental, Inc. has the broadest coverage available for all of its workers and Labor Law Liability exposures.
